I've learned to embrace the "flaws" as much as the beauty because insecurities are guideposts to loving ourselves better.
I fell in love with portraiture because of its ability to empower and enlighten. It's an art form that doubles as a mirror and I LOVE that my "job" is to hold it up for other women.
Portraiture holds the power to HEAL, REFLECT, GROW, and PRESERVE.

Nor will I ever grant a client/model permission to photoshop / facetune / filter or otherwise edit my work to alter their body or face.
In this REAL letter sent to a recent client, I explain why I uphold this part of my philosophy so fiercely.
